In the heart of the bushveld and a stone throw away from the city! Bankenkloof is set 22 km from Silver Lakes, Pretoria, on Lynnwood Road, and 35 minutes away from OR Tambo Airport. Bankenkloof offers a choice of two lodges, Bankenkloof Lodge and Buffalo House, as well as an outdoor pool and slide, canoeing, fishing, game drives and accompanied bush walks. Each lodge is fully equipped for self-catering, surrounded by a diversity of mixed bushveld trees and vegetation, called bankenveld as well as 14 different species of antelope and a large variety of birds.

As part of our annual wildlife population management strategy, Bankenkloof has some hunting opportunities available. Book your hunting session well in advance – we can only accommodate 10 hunting groups per year. Please feel free to download our price list below.

We have the perfect setting for strategy and year planning sessions for groups (10 – 15 people) with required facilities, meals and snacks. The day can be finished off with a game drive followed by a sundowner at the dam or on the deck while watching the buffalo and other animals feeding.
